The Sydney Story Factory is looking for a Projects Manager to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of all our creative writing and storytelling projects. As we grow, the Sydney Story Factory is taking on more projects, of a larger scale, often run with multiple schools, and with different funders. The Projects Manager’s role is to co-ordinate these projects and manage teaching staff time to ensure they are all delivered to the highest standards.
The Projects Manager role sits at the heart of our organisation, as s/he is ultimately responsible for ensuring that we execute our operational plan and deliver on our mission in a timely and effective manner.
S/he will report directly to the Executive Director, and will work to co-ordinate staff across the organisation, at both our Redfern and Parramatta centres. S/he will work closely with teaching staff, the development team, and our administrative staff.
We are after someone with a positive attitude and an approachable manner. S/he needs to be an excellent communicator, who is highly organised, task focussed and structured in their thinking. Excellent financial skills and familiarity with accounting software (ideally Xero) are a must.
