The Simple Act Of Reading launch – Wed Jun 3!

We are a little extra excited about our next Factory Talks, because it’s about a book very close to our hearts. It’s called The Simple Act of Reading, and is a collection of essays edited by Debra Adelaide. Not only is there some terrific writing on what reading means to people and how it shapes writers’ lives, all the proceeds from the book are donated to the Sydney Story Factory! Authors include Fiona McFarlane, Andy Griffiths, Kate Forsyth, David Malouf, Cath Keenan, Malcolm Knox and many more. Debra will be here to discuss the book with our own Cath Keenan, and we’ll have books to purchase on the night. I believe some of the authors may also be present, so you might be able to get some autographs while you’re at it!6-7pm Wednesday June 3, at the Martian Embassy.
