Thank you for a wonderful year

Wow, didn’t that year go fast!

First up, we at the Sydney Story Factory send huge congratulations to Vicki Jellie, the 2017 Australian of the Year Local Hero. Vicki’s story about mobilising her community and raising $30 million to bring radiotherapy services to South West Victoria is truly extraordinary.  We’re sure she will have a wonderful year ahead, as will the other Australians of the Year. We wish them all the very best.

Secondly, Cath and all of us at the SSF would like to sincerely thank the National Australia Day Council for giving us an incredible year as 2016 Local Hero. Their support has been tremendous and made a huge difference to us and the young people we work with – now and in years to come. Thank you again. We will never forget it!
