Last week Richard, Helen and Sheila travelled up through Coffs Harbour and Casino to collect memoirs from a wide range of high school students, like these wonderful young people from Orara High. There were so many beautiful stories that came out of the sessions, such as this excerpt:
"We wait for a while and they give us food. While we were eating, me and my brother were really excited to come to Australia. We were talking about how it's going to be like.
When we were in the plane flying above Australia, I realise I was so far from home. I feel sad and cry, thinking I won't be able to see my friends anymore. When I came I was 10 years old.
Even though I arrived in Australia and met my family, I wasn't that happy..."
