Factory Talks: Maxine Beneba Clarke

We are delighted that poet, essayist and fiction writer Maxine Beneba Clarke is our next guest at Factory Talks. Her short story collection Foreign Soil won the Victoria Premier’s Literary Award for an unpublished manuscript, and she’s since been snapped up by Hachette with a memoir and novel on the way. The stories are garnering praise from many corners for their deeply affecting explorations of race and the complex empathy between people.6-7pm Tuesday, 8th July, at the Sydney Story Factory.
