This book is an amazing adventure/drama chapter book that will blow your mind if you read it. It’s about an 11 year old called Cornelia and an old woman named Virginia that moved in next door. When she moved in, Cornelia’s entire life changed!

But Cornelia’s mother, Lucy, told her that Virginia has cancer and that she might die in a month or two. This is my favourite part because it’s the only time that Cornelia bursts into tears.

I would recommend this book to 7-14 year olds who like sad endings. I rate it 10 out of 10. Does Virginia live to see another day? Read the book to find out!
