Roald Dahl’s story was about him in his childhood and growing up. The most interesting part about this book was the great mouse plot because it had some drama in it which I enjoyed. The photos in the books matches the story and it was very interesting when it shows his parents and him growing up. I recommend this 8 and up because its easy reading book for young people and it suits people who want to know about an author’s life. I give this lovely book 9/10 because most authors don’t tell their stories and he put some good little stories when he was little. It’s a beautiful book and it only worth $9.95.

Also I like the bicycle and the sweet-shop because they match together and I like how Roald Dahl described the wicked lady who owned the shop.
