Why do we write? This was the question Susanne Gervay posed at the start of her wonderful talk last night to volunteers at the Sydney Story Factory. The answer? Well, there are lots of answers, but in the end, it’s to connect. Only connect, as Mr Forster says.
Many, many thanks to Susanne for her oustanding generosity of spirit and love of life and writing. It was inspiring to be with her. Now, I’m off to buy her book Butterflies…..
