State of Mind has kicked off

During Term 1 we worked with more than 100 young people from across New South Wales as part of State of Mind, our biggest project yet.

We’ve been blown away by the awesome poems and stories produced, from how life is on a farm in the country; what happens when you spend your days surfing at the beach; and what it's like to be new to Australia and missing family and friends who live overseas.

It's been a privilege to gain a glimpse into the lives of the young people who've put pen to paper. At each workshop we learn something new.

We're pretty booked up for Term 2 but if you'd like to sign up your school for Term 3 or 4, get in touch by emailing sheila@sydneystoryfactory.org.au. You can find out more about the project at our State of Mind page, which includes our offer to schools across the state.
