Jordan is often like the real life version of the Tasmanian Devil from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons - he quite literally spins his way into the Embassy when he visits with his school, and we sometimes think we could power the entire organisation off him if we could get him to sit still for long enough to attach electrodes.
But Jordan has also, over many months and many workshops, been learning to direct that energy into his storytelling.
Recently he excited a lot of people with a play he wrote called The Budgie Smugglers (and yes, the pun was intentional), and he also spent his school holidays in Alice Springs helping his dad and his mob re-enact the ride of the Light Bridge on horseback, after camping out in the bush for a week beforehand. The most exciting thing is that he met a hugely respected elder out on the land who gave him his personal nod of approval, which is a ridiculously high honour. Jordan, we're super proud of all your achievements!
