Meet Elizabeth Mcglynn and her Plunkett Street Public School team of two, Kakadu K-2 teacher Juliet Sonter and Uluru 3-6 teacher Emma Gillogly.
Kakadu tend the school garden and animals with Juliet and a team of community gardeners, and it produces an amazing range of produce and supplies such as native Warrigal greens for Kylie Kwong's restaurant.
Last term all students K-6 contributed to PSPS Garden Stories Workshop with SSF about the awesome creatures that live in the school garden. Brownie the favourite chicken, held here by Juliet, featured in many adventures.
PSPS, with 60 students, is a PreSchool to Year 6 school in Woolloomooloo next to the harbour and the heart of the city with close ties to the local community. Elizabeth is a teaching Principal, combining executive duties with time in the classroom, while Emma and Juliet combine a range of ages and learning needs in their classrooms. They are true Super Teachers, meeting the needs of their students and the local community.
